This 33‑Bead Prayer Bead strand features gunmetal Hematite paired with rich red Carnelian, both with even, consistent color. Hematite is a naturally heavy, very hard stone, said to protect against negative energy, giving the strand a grounding weight that feels especially satisfying when moving bead by bead through prayer. The white bronze Latin Cross is hand‑cast for Full Circle Beads in New Mexico and offers a clean, satin sheen reminiscent of sterling after gentle wear.

Designed for contemplative prayer and daily devotion, these handmade prayer beads rest comfortably in the hand, ready for personal reflection.

Note: Due to the dramatic rise in silver and sterling costs in late 2025, the sterling version of this set would have required a price increase from $44 to $52. To keep the set accessible, the cross has been transitioned to white bronze.

Hematite & Carnelian Anglican Prayer Beads w/ Latin Sterling Cross

I have ordered several different sets of prayer beads, along with other products from Full Circle Beads, and each time I have been delighted with what I’ve received. My recent order (title above) is certainly one of the most beautiful, most impressive: the simple, beautiful design of the sterling silver cross is beyond compare, IMO, while the extra heavy weight of the sober hematite beads, set off rather brilliantly by the richly colored carnelian cruciforms and delicate bronze colored spacers add the perfect contrast, or balance, to yield what appears to me as the perfectly understated elegance required of a set of prayer beads designed to attract one to timeless, quiet contemplation.
