Holiday Tip #1: Stress less.

Keep stress levels down this holiday: think meditation.  Meditation can improve emotional well-being.  Some research suggests meditation also contributes to physical health, managing conditions such as high blood pressure, pain, and depression.

Many people consider prayer a form of meditation. Prayer and meditation seem to have a common theme:  Unplug from everyday hustle and bustle for a time to focus attention on one thing. For many folks, this is easier said than done. Our minds wander back to the list of things we have to do today. And this is where prayer beads can help. Running your fingers over the beads help you stay focused, pray/meditate, get centered.

You can pray anytime, anywhere (although a quiet place is a good thing).  By yourself or in a group. Don’t need an expensive gym membership or special equipment…Well, maybe a set of prayer beads...
